This is the most fundamentally important aspect of philosophy because it is one of the hardest truths to accept and embody. If you drive to work, there is a chance you will die. If you go on vacation, there is a chance you will die. Even as you walk on the sidewalk, there is a chance you will die by a freak accident with no time to react.
Even if none of these things happen to you, you still will die.
We cannot be honest with ourselves in life without being honest about truths with the human condition.
