Whether or not to eat meat is a difficult ethical question, but let’s explore the most ethical way possible to consume meat.
Imagine you own a farm with various livestock. You have sufficient surplus of animals to have animals pass away naturally a couple times a week. You eat meat from the animals that passed away naturally only, which you have sufficient supply to eat every meal with modern freezers.
Unless you believe the body itself of the animal is sacred, I would pose this as the most ethical way to eat meat.
The main dilemma with this scenario is the sheer quantity of animals you would need to keep a supply for the entire world, but it could be possible with human made enclosures which could provide a dense supply of animals while also giving the animals the “perfect” simulation of nature.
Some meat for thought.
